Self Check Failure
Alarm triggers when the calibration file fails its integrity check. You should
replace the aspirator and contact the service center for additional information.

Self Check: Complete Power Failure
Alarm triggers when power is lost from both the internal battery and an external
source during operation. When this failure occurs, the LCD blanks (no power for
operation), the audible alarm pulses rapidly, and the visual alarm flashes rapidly.
This alarm lasts approximately two minutes. If the device can be recharged after
the failure and there are no other issues, it can be returned to service. If there are
any questions, contact the service center for additional information.
Mitigation/Info: None – No LCD Display.

Drained Battery
Alarm triggers when the internal battery power drops below the amount required
to provide vacuum and external power is not connected. When this condition
occurs, there is enough power to operate the user interface and provide
information to you. You should manually suction the patient while an external
source of power is sought. To cancel the alarm and begin operation with external
power, the device must be turned off and then back on.

Alarm triggers when the device is no longer able to communicate with the User
Interface Module (UIM) and the interface controls. When this failure occurs,
aspiration continues at the current settings and the high priority alarm sounds.
You should replace the aspirator and contact the service center for additional
information.
