6 To clean hard surfaces – wooden floors, plastic floors,
ceramic tiles etc. pull out the brush by pressing the switch on
the combination brush according to the figure .
7 Pull the plug and cord (6) out of the vacuum cleaner.
ATTENTION! While pulling out the cord, pay attention
to the yellow stripe which signals the end of the
cord. Further attempts (pulling on cord) may result in
damaging the cord.
8 Plug in the appliance.
Before operation make sure that the SAFBAG bag is installed
in the vacuum cleaner chamber and that inlet filter and the
outlet filter is installed in the appliance.
9 Switch on the vacuum cleaner by pressing the “on/off”
button (1) .

The vacuum cleaner is equipped with an electronic
suction power controller. The power adjustment is done by
means of a slider. By shirting the slider in a given direction,
you decrease or increase suction.
Filter disassembly
Before changing the filters make sure that the vacuum
cleaner is switched off and unplugged from the mains
supply.
INLET FILTER

Open the front cover handle (9) .
2 Pull the bag out of the chamber (see p. E).
3 Remove the inlet filter (11) out of the housing.

If the inlet filter (11) is dirty, it may be rinsed with running
water. Remember to dry the filter, before its reinstallation.
ATTENTION! Due to safety reasons, it is vital never to
install a damp inlet filter (11).

Install a new/the rinsed inlet filter (11) , making sure that
the whole filter is in the socket.
6 Insert a bag into the vacuum cleaner chamber (see
p. E).
7 Close the front cover of the vacuum cleaner.
ATTENTION! The damaged inlet filter should be replaced
with a new, genuine manufactured product only.
“MICROFILTER” OUTLET FILTER
1 Press the fastening on the outlet filter cover, then pull it
out of the vacuum cleaner.

Remove the microfilter by unhooking it from the 4
fastenenings.
3 If the outlet filter (12) is dirty, it may be rinsed with running
water. Remember to dry the filter, before its reinstallation.
ATTENTION! Due to safety reasons, it is vital never to
install a damp outlet filter.
4 Install a new/the rinsed filter on the 4 fastenings.
Install the cover in such a way that the two protrusions

on the bottom part of the cover are put in the holes of
the housing, then press the filter cover to make the back
fastening clanged on the casing.
ATTENTION! Always replace a damaged inlet filter only
with a brand new one.
Dust bag disassembly/assembly
The XS vacuum cleaner is equipped with both two paper
bags and a single reusable bag.
1 Total covering up of bag loading indicator by the red
cover in case the sucker or the brush is upraised over
the cleaned surface informs, that change of dust bag is
necessary. The bag loading indicator may operate in case
of suction hose stopping or in case of stopping of equipment
elements connected thereto.

Switch off the vacuum cleaner by pressing the on/off
button (1) .
3 Unplug the appliance.

Open the front cover handle (9) .
5 Press the side button on the end of the hose, then remove
the end of the hose from the inlet hole of the vacuum cleaner.
6 Release the bag fastening according to the arrow on it
and then pull the bag up to remove it. Throw the bag out.

Replace the full bag with a new one – the direction of
installing the bag is marked by an arrow on the bag plate.
ATTENTION! Carefully place the bag in such a way that
the hole in the bag plate was placed over the rubber
collar in the chamber of the vacuum cleaner.

Close the cover until you hear the characteristic clicking
sound – be careful not to catch the bag.
In case of using a reusable bag:

Release the bag fastening according to the arrow on it
and then pull the bag up to remove it.
10 Slid the closing board on the back part of the bag down
and empty out the contents.
ATTENTION! If the bag is very dirt, you can wash it in
water with a little amount of washing agent.
ATTENTION! If the bag was washed, it should be dried
before it is used again

Place the closing board on the back part of the emptied
bag.
12 Slid the bag into its place.
ATTENTION! Carefully place the bag in such a way that
the hole in the bag plate was placed over the rubber
collar in the chamber of the vacuum cleaner.
