START-UP

Carl Zeiss

Incubator XLmulti S1 RED LS and Incubator XLmulti S1 DARK LS

Laser TIRF 3

•

Place the XL S1 heating unit to the right or left

behind the incubator and connect to the

incubator using the ventilation hose (Fig. 3-14).
First plug the hose using the Plexiglas adapter

to the rear air infeed and secure using the black
M8 knurled screw. Then plug the hose with the

adapter onto the upper air outlet of the XL S1

heating unit.

•

To prevent any unwanted vibration (ventilator),

the XL S1 heating unit can be placed on a

separate table or shelf.

The corresponding operating manuals

will inform you about how to connect
the incubation components to their

control units and give you a detailed

description of their (computer-controlled)
operation.
