through a data cube and stop when you see an area of interest.
The image in the main viewport can be overlaid with the LSO
fundus image as shown in the figure below.

To better understand the perspectives, think of the data as a cube.
The B-scan viewport shows the slice data in planes parallel to the
front of the cube or the side of the cube. The X slice parallel to the
front of the image is also known as the fast B-scan because this is
the direction in which each line of A-scans is acquired extremely
quickly (in milliseconds). The Y slice parallel to the side of the cube
is also known as the slow B-scan because this scan comprises a
reformatting of vertically parallel A-scans acquired in successive line
scans. These combined lines are assembled relatively slowly, one
per line of horizontal A-scans, in comparison to the fast B-scans.
You may change between viewing the fast or slow B-scans by
toggling the Fast or Slow B-scan Display icon.
