I. Cleaning and Maintenance
1. External Cleaning and Maintenance for
Vehicle
CLEAN
•Park the vehicle in a cool place with good
ventilation, and turn off the motor controller.
•Rinse the vehicle with clean water and wash
the surface with a sponge or soft brush using a
mild detergent.
•Rinse the vehicle body, wheel rim, chassis and
other parts with water.
•Towel dry or use a chamois cloth.
•After washing, brake gently until the brakes are
functioning normally.
NOTE
Be careful when rinsing. Do not get the
electronic system wet, or a short circuit
may occur.
Use the cleaning fluid as specified in this
manual.
Gasoline and solutions with strong toxicity
will impair the protection of the finish coat.
Do not rinse the vehicle with hot water as
it may impair the finish coat.
MAINTENANCE OF SAFETY BELT
•Keep the safety belt dry and clean.
•Clean belts only by neutral soapy water and
warm water.
•Do not bleach or dye on the belts, as that
could weaken the materials..
3. Cleaning the Glass Surface
•Wipe all glass surfaces gently using appropriate
glass cleaning products. Never use abrasive
detergent to clean the glass surface.
4. Rust Prevention
A) Following factors can cause rust:
•Roads and air-borne salt ingredients
•Dirt and moisture.
•Defects of all exposed metals, such as nicks
and scratches.
•Chemicals and industrial pollution.
B) Rust precautions:
Keeping the vehicle clean
•Make sure to clean the wheel wells and other
parts that are not cleaned often.
Remove mud thoroughly. Accumulated wet mud
can accelerate rust conditions. It is desirable to
use high-pressure water to remove mud.
WARNING!
Wet brakes may lead to an accident. Wet
brakes cannot perform the braking function.
Therefore, after driving through water or after
cleaning, the vehicle should be driven at ultra-
low speed and brake pedal should be gently
pressed intermittently to dry the brakes.
WAXING
Use wax to polish on the surface of vehicle to
protect the finish coat. Clean and air dry the
vehicle before waxing. If the finish coat is warm
to the touch, before waxing, move the vehicle to a
cooler location to cool the surface.
NOTE
To protect the finish coat:
•Do not wipe vehicle surface hard or
wipe with rigid cloth.
•Never use the steel wool or abrasive
cleaner.
•Perform waxing according to relevant
waxing methods.
2. Internal Cleaning and Maintenance.
Regularly use a vacuum or brush to clean dirt
from the floorboards. Wipe all internal trims
gently with wet cloth.
