Solutions for Malfunctions

3. Braking Malfunctions

Trouble designation

Trouble description

Remedy

Brake height of brake

pedal is too low

Friction lining is damaged

Replace brake shoe or brake pad

Braking system is oil leaking.

Find out leaked part and repair it

Malfunctions of brake master cylinder

Repair or replace brake master cylinder

Air is mixed in brake hydraulic system

Exhaust the air out of brake hydraulic system

Malfunctions of brake wheel cylinder

Repair brake wheel cylinder

Malfunctions of self-adjustment mechanism of rear wheel brake

Repair or replace self adjustment mechanism

Brake is Sluggish

Parking brake is maladjusted

Adjust parking brake

Return spring of rear brake fails

Replace return spring

Brake hydraulic pipe is obstructed so that flow is blocked.

Repair as required

Brake wheel cylinder or piston of brake caliper jams

Repair as required

Malfunctions of brake master cylinder

Repair or replace brake master cylinder

Brake force is

insufficient.

Tire pressure is improper

Charge the tyre as appropriate

Friction lining is contaminated with oil stains or grease

Replace brake shoe

Brake shoe plate is distorted, or friction lining becomes glossy due

to abrasion.

Replace brake shoe

Brake drum or brake disc is out of round

Replace brake drum or brake disc

Repair or replace brake wheel cylinder
