4. Requirement for Regular Maintenance
1. Power Battery
Power needed during driving is provided by power
batteries.
In order to get maximum performance, the follow
operation shall be taken:
•Charge up accumulator immediately
after each discharge.
•Each discharge shall not exceed 80%
of total capability.
•Keep the body of accumulator clean.
NOTE
Do not open the exhaust valve and do not
fill water and acid.
WARNING!
The voltage of power battery loop is high-
tension, it may be harmed by touching the
line, so disconnect the cable before repair.
Under no circumstance should metal
materials be put on the cover of accumulator
so as to avoid fire or bomb accidents.
Do not attempt to wash the battery with
water directly.
3. AC Asynchronous Motor and Controller
The AC asynchronous motor (Fig.1) and controller
(Fig.2) are the power equipment of the vehicle,
controlled by the accelerator and brake. Please
clean dust and dirt off from the radiator exterior
of the motor and controller.
WARNING!
Motor and controller repairs should be
completed by a professional service technician.
Do not wash the controller with water directly.
2. DC/DC Converter
This converts 72VDC which comes from power
batteries to 12VDC by DC/DC conversion and supplies
power as well as charges the secondary battery.
In o
rder to maintain peak capacity of the DC/DC
converter, regularly clean any dust or dirt that
may accumulate on its exterior.
WARNING!
The voltage of DC/DC conversion loop is
high-tension, and it may be damaged by
touching the line. Disconnect the cable of
the converter before repair.
Do not wash the DC/DC converter with
water directly.
