effect, the stabilizer refrigerant solenoid valve (2SOL) is
not energized (opened) and the steam/hot water valve
is driven to the closed (0%) position. If float switches 1F
and 3F close to start the refrigerant pump before the
“Secondary Limited ADC” terminates, a standard ADC
is performed and the unit continues to run. Otherwise, a
safety shutdown is performed and
DAY-TIME-RFS-CHK FOR CRYSTALLIZATION
is displayed.
SYSTEM RUN – STRONG SOLUTION TEMP CONTROL
(EPROM version A.02F.00 only)
Displayed while the unit is running and the Strong Solu-
tion Temperature exceeds the limit that is established by
the refrigerant leaving the condenser (RTLC). Whenever
the RTLC is between 72°F and 117°F (22.2°C and
47.2°C), the Strong Solution Temperature is not allowed
to exceed the temperatures below:

For RTLC temperatures between 72°F and 117°F, but
not listed in the table above, the Strong Solution Tem-
peratures are interpolated as follows:
1. 72°F to
97°F: Strong Sol Temp Limit =
(1.4 x RTLC) + 69.2
2. 98°F to 104°F: Strong Sol Temp Limit =
(1.285 x RTLC) + 80.355
3. 105°F to 117°F: Strong Sol Temp Limit =
(1.307 x RTLC) + 78.072
As the Strong Solution Temperature rises, when it gets
within 2°F (1.1°C) of the limit, the steam or hot water
valve is inhibited from loading and is pulsed closed per
the table below until the Strong Solution Temperature is
4°F (2.2°C) below the limit. However, if the Leaving
Chilled Water Temperature is < the Leaving Chilled Wa-
ter Temp Setpoint, the valve is closed in accordance with
the Temperature Control Routine.

SYSTEM RUN – LOW ECDWT LIMIT IN EFFECT
(EPROM version A.02F.01 or later)
Displayed while the unit is running and unit loading is
being limited because the entering condenser water tem-
perature is < 74°F (23.3°C). While this is in effect, the
maximum allowed steam/hot water valve position is de-
termined by the valve profile as per the programmed
valve part number. (The YORK part number is entered
by a qualified service technician using procedure in
“Service” manual, Form 155.16-M3.) The valve profile
includes size, flow characteristics and linearity. This
feature is bypassed for the first 30 minutes of unit op-
eration.
If unit is equipped with EPROM version A.02F.02 and
later, in addition to the entering condenser water tem-
perature having to be < 74°F (23.3°C), Strong Solution
temperature must be > the programmed LOW ECDWT
SOLUTION TEMP OVERRIDE setpoint (165°F to 185°F)
in order for this load limit to be performed. Both these
conditions must exist for 10 continuous seconds before
the load limit is put in effect. The LOW ECDWT SOLU-
TION TEMP OVERRIDE setpoint must be programmed
by a qualified service technician using procedure in “Ser-
vice” manual, Form 155.16-M3.

SYSTEM RUN – UNIT UNLOADED
The system is running in SERVICE mode. It is in the
process of loading or unloading due to the operator
pressing the LOAD or UNLOAD keys or because of
automatic control. Or it is in the fully loaded or unloaded
position.
SYSTEM RUN – UNIT UNLOADED
(EPROM version A.02F.01 or later)
The system is running in SERVICE mode. The steam/
hot water valve is in the fully closed position (0%) or <
the programmed “MAXIMUM ALLOWED UNLOAD
LIMIT” value.
