Explanation
When you wish to use a PC to set the information that can be specified using the keys
on the instrument, or output setup information or measured data to a PC, set the serial
interface as follows.
Selecting the mode
Select the mode from the following list of choices.
nor (normal mode): Select this mode when you wish to use a PC to set the information that
can be specified using the keys on the instrument, or output setup
information or measured data in response to a request from a PC.
onLY (talk-only mode): Select this mode when you wish to output measured data to other
devices every time a trigger occurs, not in response to a request from
a PC. Settings and output requests received from a PC are ignored.
Selecting the handshaking method
Select the data transmission and reception controls from the following list of choices.
