Sound Edge Application Software

■

Effect Menu

The [Effect] menu is available only when the waveform editing window is active. All the
commands in the [Effect] menu are also available in the toolbar.

Reverse:

Reverses the selected area. The beginning and end of the selected waveform area are
reversed, so that the sound plays backwards.

Inverse:

Inverts the selected area. The top and bottom of the selected waveform area are inverted.

Normalize:

Normalizes the selected area (by maximizing the peak value; as a result, the rest will be
scaled automatically by the same factor). This allows non-distorted correction of data that
was recorded at an extremely low level.

One Play:

Adds silent data to the end of the wave data. This cancels the loop playbacks so that you
can execute a single playback.
