Wear/scratches

Replace the master cylin-

der assembly.

• Brake master cylinder body

Cracks/damage

Replace.

• Brake fluid delivery passage (master cylinder

body)
Blow out with compressed air.

2. Inspect:

• Brake master cylinder kit

Scratches/wear/damage

→

Replace as a set.

3. Inspect:

• Brake master cylinder reservoir

Cracks/damage

→

Replace.

• Brake master cylinder reservoir diaphragm

Damage/wear

→

Replace.

4. Inspect:

• Brake hose

Cracks/damage/wear

→

Replace.

BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

WARNING

• All internal parts should be cleaned only with

new brake fluid.

• Internal parts should be lubricated with brake

fluid when installed.

Recommended brake fluid:
