the specified measuring point. Replace
the piston if out of specification.

Replace the piston and piston rings as a
set if out of specification.

Checking the piston pin boss bore

Measure the piston pin boss bore.
Replace the piston if out of specification.

Checking the piston ring

Measure the piston ring dimensions.
Replace the piston ring if out of specifica-
tion.

Level the piston rings

in a cylinder with

a piston crown.

Measure the piston ring end gap

at the

specified measuring point. Replace the
piston ring set if out of specification.
