3.6.1 Generate User Permit



Click “user permit” and open the dialog of user permit. This dialog displays a

hexadecimal user permit with 28 characters. You can record it and use it for buying
licenses of electronic charts from data service providers of these charts.

3.7 Data Service Providers

Xinuo ECDIS supports the simultaneous management of electronic chart exchange sets
from multiple data service providers. Cell permit and product catalogue are classified
according to data service providers, because following dialog boxes and pages exist for all
electronic chart service providers:



3.8 Cell permit

After you submit a user permit to a data service provider to apply for purchasing license of
an electronic charts, the service provider will issue the cell permit (license of electronic
charts) and S-63 data packet of electronic charts (including basic packets and updated
packets). The cell permit can be used for decrypting and installing the S-63 electronic
charts you have ordered. If you order electronic charts from multiple data service
providers, you will receive several cell permits. This means these cell permits shall be
separately installed.
