ECDIS User manual

The ownship 's settings include ship vector, ship display style, own ship display
settings,adjust ownship POSN manully, ownship information, initial position, etc.

The ship vector refers to the vector line of the ship 's motion. The setting items include
vector stabilization, time period, and time mark interval.

The reference system includes ground and water. The ground is selected as the reference
ground, and the water surface is selected as the reference surface. The time stamp period
indicates that the position is reached after a few minutes by the current speed and
heading, and OFF is selected to not display the vector line.

The time period interval indicates the tick mark of the vector line. When OFF is selected, it
is not displayed. 1&6 indicates a small scale every 1 minute, and a large scale every 6
minutes. 6 means that one scale is displayed every 6 minutes. The display of the scale is
limited by the reference frame and range.

The ship display style refers to the style displayed by the vessel on the chart, and the
symbol or the scaled outline can be selected. The scaled outline is displayed as a vessel
type, and the size of the vessel type is displayed in proportion to the length of the vessel
and the width of the vessel. You can set the Settings in the ownship information. The ship
length setting range is 1~1022m, and the ship width setting range is 2~50m. GPS dstn to
head is the GPS installation position of the vessel, and this would be used as the starting
