- SSL requires signed certificates to determine if the web browser accessing the camera has a

required authentication. This camera can generate a self-signed certificate using Open SSL.

- If you select the HTTP connection policy to HTTP, you cannot access the camera using a URL

beginning with “HTTPS:”

- Self-signed certificates are valid for 10 years.

Install:

To use HTTPS for communication with the Network Camera, An official certificate issued

by a CA (Certificate Authority) must be uploaded from your PC. Provide the path to the certificate
directly, or use the Browse button to locate it. Then click the Upload button.

Installed Certificate:

In case of all the processing succeed, the name of official certificate

will be displayed and also its installed time.

NOTES

Please refer to the home page of your preferred CA for information on where to send the request.
For more information, please see the online help.
