Phaser 6280 Color Laser Printer Service Manual

Service Parts Disassembly

Tray 3 Feeder Assembly (PL12.1.8, PL12.3.1)

Remove Tray 3 from the Optional 550-Sheet Feeder.

Remove the Tray 3 Left Cover (page 8-101).

Remove the Tray 3 Right Cover (page 8-105).

Remove the Tray 3 Turn Clutch (page 8-103).

Remove the Tray 3 Feed Clutch (page 8-104).

Disconnect the Tray 3 Feeder wiring harness connector P/J4212 and
pass the connector out of the hole of the Frame (PL12.2.1).

Remove 4 screws (8 mm) securing the Tray 3 Feeder to the Frame.

Release the 2 hooks securing the Tray 3 Feeder to the Frame and release
the 2 notches from the hole of the Frame.
