9.2 Clearing Paper Jams

Remove the jammed
paper while lifting lever 1.

Never touch the areas on or near
the fuser unit that are affixed
with labels like Hot Surface and
CAUTION. You can get burnt as
a result.

If paper is jammed at the
top of the transfer module
or inside the fuser unit,
remove it by pulling it out
towards the left.

Never touch the areas on or near
the fuser unit that are affixed
with labels like Hot Surface and
CAUTION. You can get burnt as
a result.

If the jammed paper
cannot be removed, turn
the green lever on the
right of the fuser unit to
the right to open it, and
then remove the sheet.
