Remove the jammed
paper.

If the paper is torn, check that no torn pieces are left in the
machine.

Close the top cover.

Paper jam inside top right cover

The following message will be displayed if paper is jammed inside the upper right cover of the HCF.
Follow the procedure below to remove the jammed paper.

●

If the top cover of the machine is not 
closed completely, an error 
message will appear and the 
machine will not start. If paper or 
documents are still jammed at other 
locations, other error messages will 
be displayed.
