3.11 Switching Auto Flow on/off
The AutoFlow program is used to measure the current fluid levels of
sample and reagents.

Error messages are generated.
z
The fluid levels of the reagents are determined.
Fluid level measurement If the Fluid level measurement parameter is switched on, the current
fluid levels in the containers are continuously determined by pressure
measurements. If the fluid level sinks below 4 cm, an instruction is
issued to fill the container, e.g. "Replenish dist. H2O".
Overpressure
measurement If the Overpressure measurement parameter is switched on, the
sample flow is monitored.
If there is a lack of sample, the analyzer module signals "No sample"
until sample is available again or until 15 minutes have passed. During
this time, the peristaltic pump operates at low speed. The pressure
measurement is performed continuously during this time so that a
measuring cycle starts immediately when sample is available again.
If no sample is available after 15 minutes, the analyzer module signals
"NO SAMPLE".
