1.3 Target Audience
Customer
The customer's responsibility is shown in the appropriate sections.
Electrical and Electronics Installer and Repairer
The electrical and electronics installers and repairers must have the following
qualifications:
•
Taken courses in electronics.
•
Provable and practical experience in similar occupations.
•
Training in dealing with the dangers and risks regarding electrical
installations and familiar with the proper use of PPE according to 29
CFR, Chapter XVII, Part 1910 (OSHA), NEC® and NFPA 70E®.
•
Training in dealing with the dangers and risks regarding batteries.
•
Successful completion of trainings in risk prevention when working with
installed electrical equipment.
•
Knowledge and compliance of the applicable industrial safety measures.
•
Knowledge of the wiring methods in accordance with National Electric
Code, ANSI/NFPA 70 and Canadian Electric Code.
•
Knowledge and compliance with the safety instructions in these
operating instructions as well as all safety information.
•
Knowledge of the NEMA standards for electrical enclosures.
•
Knowledge of the ESD protective measures.
These individuals may only carry out the installation, commissioning,
troubleshooting as defined in this document in the corresponding section as well
as the maintenance and decommissioning.
Material Moving Machine Operator
The material moving machine operator must have the following qualifications:
•
Training on the job to operate forklift and crane.
•
Certification for the proper training.
•
Crane operators must have several years of experience in related
occupations and must be licensed in some states and cities.
•
Training in dealing with the dangers and risks regarding the transported
products described on the product and in these operating instructions.
•
Knowledge of the correct lifting equipment.
These individuals may only carry out the transport of the product unless
otherwise indicated in this document.
Operator
The operator is responsible for the commissioning and operation of the product.
This target audience is defined in the
Interface Description Modbus TCP and
EtherCAT.
