4.3.2. Heating
element
with attachment plates
We recommend the replacement of the attachment plates only with cooled-down
heating element.
Be especially cautious during the replacement, if the heating element is heated
necessarily wear safety gloves!
Always brush the fixing screws prior to the assembly with high temperature paste!
In case of infrared welding you must necessarily remove the attachment
plates prior to heating since the plates are destroyed by the high
temperature.
4.4. Heating element control
Put the heating element plug into the 10-pole-power socket and secure the plug connection
by the safety bracket.
As soon as the heating element has been plugged and the control unit activated, the heating
element is heating up to the adjusted temperature.
Each attachment plate
disposes of 2 sinkings and 2
threads. Mount the attachment
plates with 4 countersunk
screws M 6x30 DIN 7991 to
the heating element
