Product Introduction 

 
WhaleT

eq’s  AECG100  is  a  multifunction  testing  unit,  which  could

 

function as ECG (Electrocardiogram) tester, PPG (Photoplethysmography) 
tester,  PWTT  (Pulse  Wave  Transit  Time)  tester,  and  SpO

2

  (Peripheral 

Oxyhemoglobin  Saturation)  tester  parameter  adjustment  control.  The 
main ECG module is a single-lead ECG tester that could produce signals 
according to IEC standards for medical equipment. The users can use it 
with the single-channel or dual-channel PPG module of their choice. The 
single-channel PPG module provides a green LED, offering simulated PPG 
heart rate signals; besides, the dual-channel PPG module provides red 
LED and infrared LED, simulating different Sp0

 blood oxygen levels.  

 
When the ECG module and the PPG module work at the same time, the 
users can get the pulse wave transit time (PWTT) by adjusting the time 
difference (PTTp or PTTf) between the peak value of ECG to the peak or 
the valley of the PPG wave. The parameters can be used for improving 
the wearable devices on measuring blood pressure and calculating the 
degree  of  arteriosclerosis.  This  method  can  significantly  increase  the 
accuracy of the blood pressure measurement.
