MAIN PRESSURE WASHER
COMPONENTS
1. Spray Gun:
Controls the application of high
pressure water or low pressure detergent and
water mixture onto the surface being cleaned.
Includes an on / off trigger with safety lock.
2. Lance:
Rigid extension between the spray gun
and the spray nozzle. Includes a quick-change
coupling for holding the spray nozzle.
3. Spray Nozzles:
Control the velocity and pattern
of the discharge spray for various cleaning
applications.
4. High Pressure Hose:
Connection between the
water pump outlet and the spray gun inlet.
5. Pump:
Moves water from the inlet to the spray
gun at the required pressure and flow rate.
6. High Pressure Outlet:
Connection for the high
pressure hose.
7. Water Inlet
: Connection for water supply from a
garden hose.
8. Unloader Valve:
Controls the pump output
pressure and automatically switches the flow to
recirculating while idling without spraying.
9. Thermal Relief Valve:
Protects the pump from
internal damage by automatically discharging
water if it reaches 60°C.
10. Detergent Tank:
Stores detergent that can be
automatically diluted with water and sprayed at
low pressure using the detergent nozzle.
11. Detergent Siphon Tube
: Connection between the
detergent tank and the pump.
12. Nozzle Cleaning Tool:
Use to clean any foreign
material clogging the spray nozzle orifice.
13. Hose and Nozzles Holder:
Provides onboard
storage for the pressure hose, nozzles and nozzle
cleaning tool when not in use.
14. Engine:
Provides the power to drive the pump.
15. Fuel Tank:
Stores unleaded petrol to run the
engine.
16. Air Filter:
Two-stage system that filters out dust
from the intake air to protect the engine.
17. Muffler and Spark Arrester:
Reduce engine
exhaust noise and prevent the emission of hot
exhaust particles.
18. Engine Control Switch:
Use to turn the engine on
or off.
19. Recoil Starter:
Pull on the handle to start the
engine.
20. Fuel Valve Lever:
Turns fuel supply to the engine
on or off.
21. Choke:
Adjusts the fuel-air mixture supplied to
the engine for ease of cold starting.
22. Oil Fill Plug & Dipstick:
Access to add oil, check
the oil level or extract oil with a vacuum pump.
23. Oil Drain Plug:
Access to drain oil by gravity.
24. Handle:
Use to move the pressure washer around
on its wheels.
25. Frame:
Supports all the pressure washer
components.
26. Baseplate:
Mounting for the engine and pump.
27. Wheels:
Provide mobility over all terrain.
28. Identification Label:
