Note:

Measuring Capacitance
Warning! To avoid electric shock and damage to the meter,
discharge any capacitor before measurement! Do not discharge
the capacitor by a short circuit, but by bridging the connections
using a 100 k
Ω resistor (depending on the size of the capacitor).
Never connect the measuring probes of the meter to a power
source if you have selected the capacitance measuring range as
this will damage the meter. Before a capacity measurement,
measure to safety whether a capacitor still is charged (use the
DC V area).
1. Connect the black measuring cable to the COM jack (9) and
the red measuring cable to the input jack (10).
2. Set the rotary function switch (13) to the position.
3. Connect the measuring cables to both ends of the capacitor to
be tested.
4. Read the measuring value from the display.
