Operation
3. Insert three new batteries of the type LR03 (AAA) into the
battery compartment. Pay attention to the proper polarity of the
batteries. The polarity is printed inside the battery compart-
ment.
4. Replace the battery cover and secure it with the screw. Never
operate the clamp meter with open battery compartment.
Replace the batteries as soon as the low battery indicator
appears on the display.
Rotary Function Switch (13)
To select the required measurement function, turn the rotary
switch so it points to the symbol corresponding to the required
function.
ƒ Always use the proper function and range for your measure-
ments.
ƒ Before moving the rotary function switch to change functions,
always disconnect the test leads from the circuit under test and
remove the clamp jaws from the clamped conductor.

Connect the black measuring cable to the COM jack (for all types
of measurements except for current measurements).
