Notes:
ƒ The digital clamp meter shows the approximate forward
voltage drop of the diode. If a value of up to 3 V is displayed,
the component is functional in forward direction.
ƒ If the overload indicator “
OL
” is displayed, the diode is defective
or the test leads have been reversed.

Continuity Test
With this function you can check electrical circuits, cables or
components for continuity.
Important! Do not perform continuity tests on voltage-carrying
components or circuitry.
1. Connect the black measuring cable to the COM jack (9) and
the red measuring cable to the input jack (10).
2. Set the rotary function switch (13) to the Ω position.
3. Press the function selection switch SEL (5) as many times until
the symbol appears on the display in order to select the
continuity test function.
4. Connect the measuring cables to both ends of the object to be
measured respectively to the circuit to be tested.
5. The internal buzzer sounds if the resistance is lower than
30 Ω , confirming that the component or the circuit has passed
the continuity test.
