Thank you for placing your trust in our company by purcha-
sing the Weller WTS D control unit. Production was based on
stringent quality requirements which guarantee the perfect
operation of the device.
1. Caution!
Please read carefully the Operating Instructions and the atta-
ched safety information prior to operation. Failure to observe
the safety regulations can results in a risk of life and limb.
The manufacturer shall not be liable for damage resulting
from misuse of the machine or unauthorised alterations.
The electric screwdriver WTS D corresponds to the EC
Declaration of Conformity in accordance with the basic safe-
ty requirements of Directives 2006/42/CE, 2006/95/CE and
2004/108/CE.
2. Instructions
1. Connect power supply cable.
2. Connect screwdriver cable, one connector to pos.

the other to screwdriver
3. Turn ON the unit with I/O Button (

Attention:
If you are using the ECL model for the first time, read
ECL
model calibration
in OTHER FUNCTION chapter at the end
of manual first.
Desktop display for ECL model:
Desktop displays the principal instruction for the assembly
process:
a. Screwdriver set: the model of screwdriver set into the
menu
b. Screw: it`s the result of the last screw. If OK, the setting
of the screw has been done correctly. If NO OK, the
setting of the screw is wrong.
For example: after a correct screw, if you press the lever
again and release it before the max time, the desktop
will show “- -“.
Desktop display for clutch model:
In clutch model the desktop shows:
c. Model of screwdriver
d. Status for the last screw
e. Indication for using of screwdriver with clutch.
Joint, range of torque and torque percentage is disabled
when using screwdriver model with clutch, because
torque regulation is not electronic but mechanically
(see about screw driver manual WBTS).
Menu:
To enter the menu, press ESC for 1,5 seconds. Then enter
the password (if active, see “PASSW ON”).
Enter the password:

- Repeat this for the all 4 digits in the password
Default password is ‘
0000
’.
The password is required only at the starting.
Arrow:
If arrow ( ) is static, it`s possible to move through the
menu through
UP/DOWN
buttons. If you press
OK
the arrow
starts blinking, you can change the parameters through
UP/DOWN
buttons. Press
OK

ESC
(to don’t
save value) to return to the menu and arrow switches to
static again.

1) Model:
Each screwdriver model has specific parameters, so it`s
important to set correct model in the operating unit before
starting.
