3rd Level Troubleshooting : Power Supply Board

1 .

To gain access to the Power Supply board , proceed as fol lows:

a .

Remove the two screws whi ch fasten the Rear Panel to
the S ide Frames and pu l l back the Rear Pane l .

b .

Remove the two screws whi ch fasten the Power Supply

S h i e l d Box to the Rear Pane l a nd move the Shield Box

forward .

c .

Remove the four screws wh ich fasten the Power Supply

board to the  Rear Panel  standoffs .  D isconnect Power
S u pply l eads from Mainboards  and  move  Power Supply
board  out of the Shield Box .

2 .

Perform the procedure i n the order gi ven i n the 3rd Leve l Trouble

shooring Tree . Vol tages given i n this Tree are measured with

respect to ground using a D igital Mul timter (See Section 4-2 . for
Recommended Test Equipment

)

3 .

Repair as per Section

4-6,

and replace by reversing the previous

procedu re.
