0: port-
based
Order of the process data of the digital inputs and digital
outputs: port 1 (bit 0 and 1), port 2 (bit 2 and 3), ..., port 8
(bit 14 and 15) (default). For each port, first pin 4, then
pin 2 is transmitted.
1: pin-based Order of the process data of the digital inputs and digital
outputs: pin 4 (port 1 ... 8), pin 2 (port 1 ... 8).

0: set digital
output pins
to low
Set all digital outputs to low level in the event of error
(default).
1: set digital
output pins
to defined
substitute
value
Set digital outputs to a pre-defined substitute value in the
event of error. If this setting is used, the value of the
“Digital Output Substitute Value” parameter sets the sub-
stitute value.
2: hold last
value of dig-
ital output
pins
Hold digital outputs at their last value in the event of an
error.

Substitute value as a bitmask for the digital outputs if the
“Set to Defined Value” setting is used; The input depends
on the “PD Layout” parameter. To assign bits 0 to 15 to
port and pin, see description of the “PD Layout” parame-
ter.
Use a binary-to-decimal converter to calculate this value.
