Engine Oil and Filter

Drain oil while engine is still warm.

5.6.1

Remove oil fill cap

(a)

, drain plug

(b)

, and washer

(c)

to drain oil.

Note:

In the interests of environmental protection, place a plastic sheet

and a container under the machine to collect any liquid which drains
off. Dispose of this liquid in accordance with environmental protection
legislation.

5.6.2

Reinstall drain plug and tighten.

5.6.3

Fill engine crankcase with recommended oil to the upper limit mark on
the dipstick

5.6.4

Reinstall oil fill cap and dipstick securely.

5.6.5

To replace the oil filter

(e)

, remove the installed oil filter after oil has

been drained. Apply a thin coat of oil to the rubber gasket

(f)

of the

replacement oil filter. Screw the filter on until it just contacts the filter
adapter

(g)

, then turn it an additional 22.24 mm (7/8 in.)

turn. Refill with

oil as described above.
