Troubleshooting Voltage Issues

4. Disconnect the DC rectifier

5. Check across the terminals of the DC rectifier using the diode scale. Use the

terminal

(y)

where the BR-R wire connects as a base point. Measure between it

and the two other terminals. Reverse the leads of the meter and measure
again. The meter should read approximately 0.5V in one direction and OPEN or
“OL” in the other.

Does the DC rectifier function as stated above?
