Monitors
This screen (Figure 8-14) lets you view and change your monitor settings.
Figure 8-14 Monitors
Discover
searches for the IP
address of your local gatekeeper
automatically.
If your network uses more than one
gatekeeper, select
Manual
and enter an
IP address to use a specific gatekeeper.
Select
Disable
if you wish to
bypass your network’s
gatekeeper.
If you use a gateway to make calls
from your LAN to the WAN, enter its
dotted quad IP address here.
Select your gateway’s maximum
line speed. For example, select
384
if you have an Ezenia
gateway.
Enter any H.323 address you wish to
use as an alias. You must have a
gatekeeper installed and be
registered in order for others to find
your site using an alias.
This section displays the currently
available monitors and their
connection type.
Choose a monitor standard (
NTSC
or
PAL
) and type (
S-Video
or
Composite
).
Because the available monitors must
have the same standard and type,
these settings apply to all monitors
listed.
Check this box if you wish to use only
the primary monitor.
