Troubleshooting
Problem
Suggeston
My telephone doesn’t
work at all.
• Make sure the power adaptor s plugged n.
• Make sure the telephone line cord is plugged firmly into the base unit and the telephone wall
jack.
• Dsconnect the power adaptor for a few mnutes, and then reconnect t.
• Charge the battery n the handset for 16 hours. For optmum daly performance, return the
handset to ts base unt when not n use.
• Reset the base unt. Unplug the electrcal power. Wat for 15 seconds then plug t back n. Allow
up to one mnute for the handset and base unt to reset.
• You may need to purchase a new battery, please refer to the
Batteries
sectons n ths user’s
manual.
I cannot get a dal
tone.
• Try all the suggestons above.
• Move the handset closer to the base unt. You mght have moved out of range.
• Make sure the telephone s set to the correct dal mode for the type of servce that you have
(pulse or touchtone). Refer to the
Installation
secton of ths user’s manual to set the dal
mode.
• Your lne cord mght be malfunctonng. Try nstallng a new lne cord.
• If the prevous suggestons do not work, dsconnect the telephone base from the telephone
jack and connect a dfferent telephone. If there s no dal tone on that telephone ether, the
problem s n the wrng or local servce. Contact your local telephone company.
