Basic operation
Options while on calls
There are a few optons whle on a call, ncludng speakerphone on the
handset, hold, mute, volume control, rnger slencng and call watng on both
the handset and the base unt.
Speakerphone on the handset
• Durng a call, press
to toggle between speakerphone and normal
handset use.
Hold
• Durng a call, press the softkey
HOLD
on the handset or at the base unt to
put a call on hold.
• To return to the call, press
/
FLASH
or
at the handset, or
/SPEAKER
at the base unt.
Mute
Usng the mute functon allows you to mute the mcrophone and the other party
cannot hear you, whle you can stll hear the other party.
• Durng a call, press the softkey
MUTE
on the handset or at the base unt to
mute the mcrophone.
• Press the softkey UNMUTE to return to normal conversaton.
Volume control
• Durng a call, use the volume control on the rght sde of the handset, or the
volume control on the base unt, to adjust the lstenng volume.
• Press or on the volume control key to adjust the volume to a comfortable
level.
• The handset
