7.3 Configuring the threat library

The threat image library contains realistic images and includes firearms, knives and IEDs (Improvised Explosive
Devices). The library contains a sufficient variety and quantity of images to ensure that operators cannot anticipate or
memorize the projected images. The civil aviation authority of the country where the TIP system is sold must be
consulted to ensure that the library complies with the requirements in terms of image quantity and different items.
For example, the authorities in different countries include:
