Water separator, draining

- Check the water trap every 10 hours. Drain if

necessary.

- Drain the water trap every 250 hours.
- Prevent fuel spills by using a plastic hose and a

container.

Draining water from the fuel has to be done
manually. A non-return valve in the filter head
prevents the fuel from running back to the tank.

Proceed as follows:
1 Connect a plastic hose to drain nipple (C) and

place the end of the hose in a suitable container.

2 Loosen the drain nipple until fuel runs out

through the hose.

3 Tighten the drain nipple after draining is

completed.

4 Remove the hose.
5 Pump with the hand pump (D) several times until

the water trap (B) is filled and a resistance can
be felt.

NOTE!

NOTE!
The hand pump must not be used when the engine
is running.
