Using the correct attachment for a particular job is
a deciding factor when it comes to the capacity of
the machine. The machine has either a pin-on
attachment or a hydraulically operated attachment
bracket, which allows rapid changes of
attachments.

According to EU's machine directive there shall be
a CE-marking on the machine's product plate (see
figures) as well as a "Declaration of conformity".
This marking also covers attachments designed by
Volvo and adapted for Volvo wheel loaders since
they are an integrated part of the machine and
adapted to the machine.
