The preheating function is controlled by the engine
control module (ECM).

started by turning the start key to starting
position (2).
Let the engine run at low idle for at least 60
seconds.
Racing the engine immediately after it has been
started may also jeopardise lubrication and
cooling of the turbocharger, resulting in high
risk of bearing seizure.
