Incorrect operation can lead to personal
injury and damage to products or property.
Therefore, read through the Operator’s
manual very carefully before starting the
engine or performing any service work. If
there is still something which is unclear or
if you feel unsure about it, please contact
your Volvo Penta dealer for assistance.
This symbol is used in the Operator’s
manual and on the product, to call your
attention to the fact that this is safety infor -
mation. Always read such information very
carefully.
Safety texts in the instruction book have
the following order of priority:
WARNING! Warns for the risk of per -
sonal injury, major damage to product
or property, or serious malfunctions if
the instruction is ignored.
IMPORTANT! Is used to call attention
to things which could cause damage or
malfunctions to product or property.
NOTE! Is used to call attention to important
information, to facilitate work processes or
operation.
Addition to Operator’s manual D3
This Operator’s manual is an addition to the Opera -
tor's manual for D3. The additional material contains
user instructions that apply only to the SOLAS ver -
sion of D3.
