Pump Models:  

VX Series Q Pumps  

 

 

 

Adding Lubricants 

Double-check that all drain plugs 
are installed in the bottom of the 
pump. 

Remove the side bolt from the 
pumps gear box. From the top, fill 
the gearbox with oil until begins 
to run out of the side hole, which 
translates to filling the gearbox up 
about halfway. Replace the side 
drain plug and tighten (

).  

Fill the blocking chamber 
completely to the top with oil  
(

Fig 44

). 

 

Note:

 

Refer back to the 

instructions regarding the use of 
the Pressurized Oil Bottle. The 
appropriate pressure must be set 

to your particular pump to help 
ensure maximum mechanical
