High altitude operation
At high altitude, the usual air
–
fuel mixture will be
extremely rich. The yield will decrease and fuel
consumption will increase. A very rich mixture will
decrease the spark and cause a bad start.
High altitude performance can be improved by installing
thinner fuel tubing in the carburetor and adjusting the
pilot screw. If you always use the generator at altitudes
above 15 00m above sea level, you should seek
specialised technical assistance to make the necessary
adjustments. Even with proper fuel injection, the power
of the generator decreases on average by 3.5%, for
every 300m of altitude increase. The effect of altitude
on power will be greater if the necessary adjustments
are not made.
If an engine prepared for high altitudes is used at
low altitudes, the air-fuel mixture will reduce
yield and may overheat the engine causing serious
engine damage.
Parallel operation
Parallel operation allows power level combination
(Table 5) of 2 inverter generators, regardless of model.
This connection is possible with the use of special
parallel operation cables, which allow higher power
output when compared to the use of a single generator.
All VITO inverter generator models are designed to run
both individually and in parallel.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Before any maintenance or cleaning work, place
the generator on a level surface, and remove the
spark plug cap from the spark plug
Checking and changing the engine oil
Low oil level operation will cause severe engine
damage.
1. Place the generator on a flat floor;
2. Remove the screws, then remove the cap;
3. Remove the oil tank cap;
4. Fuel with the specified amount of oil recommended
(15W40) and put on the oil tank cap;
5. Place the cap and fasten the screws
Oil change operation:
Avoid taking the oil out of the engine shortly after you
have stopped the engine.
6. Place the generator on a level surface, and allow the
engine to warm-up for a few minutes. Then turn the 3
in 1 switch, and the air vent knob to "OFF";
7. Remove the screws and then the cap;
8. Remove the oil tank cap;
9. Place an oil drain pan under the generator. Tilt the
generator to remove the oil from the tank;
10. Make sure that you have the generator on a level
surface when you put the new oil in;
Do not tilt the generator while you are pouring the oil.
This tilt can lead to overfilling, which in turn can lead to
damage to the engine.
11. Add oil to the suitable level;
12. Clean the cap and any oil that has been spilled;
13. Put the cap on the tank;
14. Place the cap and fasten the screws.
