8. TROUBLESHOOTING
The following messages appear on the UPS in case of problems. On the basis of this information, user can judge himself, if the
fault is caused by external factors and can handle it.
1.
The fault indicator lights and shows that the UPS has detected one or several faults.
2.
The buzzer beeps and indicates that the UPS demands your attention. If it beeps for a long time, it means that there is
something wrong with the unit.
3.
If you need help, contact your service department and have at the same time the following data – absolutely necessary
for analysis – ready to hand:
UPS MODEL DESIGNATION & SERIAL NUMBER
When did the fault happen (date and time)?
Detailed description of the problem (indicate also the advertising texts of the screen).
The following table describes typical alarm conditions:

Press the breaker for restart.

Keep the UPS connected to mains power for more than 8 hours to recharge
the batteries.
UPS is overloaded
Check the usage of loads; remove unnecessary devices.
Battery is old
For replacing the battery, contact your distributor for the purpose of ordering
a new battery and the installation of it.
UPS doesn’t start
after pressing the
ON key
«ON» key combination
has not been pressed
Press both keys at the same time.
UPS has no connected
battery OR the battery
voltage is too low with
too many connected
loads
Connect the UPS battery correctly; if the battery voltage is too low, turn off
the UPS, remove some loads and restart the UPS.
Fault inside the UPS
Contact the supplier for servicing.
