CBR: The compression bit rate remains constant even when the amount of light changes. The
characteristics of CBR is that you always have good compressed images and that you can
estimate better use of the disk space and network bandwith.
Code stream: set the compression pressure for vast changing images. One can choose
between: 100K, 128K, 256K, 512K, 1M (at CIF is the maximum 1M, Note: the higher the
change, the hogher the bit rate should be set).
Video quality: there are 6 levels to determine the video quality (highest, higher, high,
medium, low, lowest).
Audio: on /off audio switch to activae or deactivate the audio.
Dual Streams
1.
The settings for the local stream are applicable to the main stream. These settings affect
the absorption of the main stream and the network stream.
2.
The settings for the network stream to the network sub stream. These settings affect the
functionality of the network stream.
Pre-record time: the 4 recording modes support the pre-recording features, the standard
pre-recording time is 10 seconds. The adjustable range is from 0 to 30 seconds. Partly
because of the VBR (variable bit rate), the final pre-recording time differs from the one set.
Delayed recording time: the recording time after a sensor or other alarm is triggered, default
duration is 30 seconds. The range is from 0 to 180 seconds.
