Locate the key in the DIMM socket, and orient the DIMM over the socket
so that the notch in the bottom edge of the card and the key in the socket
align.

Caution:

Always hold the edges of the DIMM. Do not touch the front or the

back of the DIMM chips. Do not touch the front or the back of the DIMM
chips.

■

Align the edges of the DIMM memory module with the grooves in the posts
at both ends of the socket.

■

Insert the DIMM memory module in the socket grooves and push down
evenly and firmly until the retaining clips snap into place. Make sure that
the memory module is firmly in place.
