EVACUATION
Evacuation of clients should happen via the end of the bed, or
via the side of the bed.
Evacuation via the foot end of the bed
1. Remove the footboard.
2. Cut the turning sheet between the mattress and the bar.
3. Evacuate the client via the end of the bed.
Evacuation via the side of the bed
In case you have power:
1. Lower the bar on the evacuation side.
2. Use VENDLET Standard to pull the client to the side of the
bed and evacuate.
In case you do not have power:
1. Manually lift the bar and directly afterwards activate the
emergency release, by pushing the emergency release nut
upwards.
2. Once the bar has been released, continue pressing the
emergency release nut upwards while lowering the sys-
tem.

3. Remember to release the bar in both foot end and head
end of VENDLET Standard.
4. Cut the turning sheet between the mattress and the oppo-
site bar.
5. Pull the client to the side of the bed and evacuate.
The emergency release nut must only be used in case of emer-
gency or malfunction of the actuators.
