Do not mount the instruments in or above the filling stream. Make sure

that you detect the product surface, not the inflowing product.

The socket piece should be dimensioned in such a way that the an-

tenna end protrudes at least 5 mm (0.2 in) out of the socket.

If the reflective properties of the medium are good, you can mount

VEGAPULS 64 on sockets longer than the antenna. The socket end

should be smooth and burr-free, if possible also rounded.
