Configuration of the Switching Output

Even if the output is configured as shown in the previous dialog, i.e. 
to follow the input of the remote end, a monostable switching 
response can be used to increase short input impulses. This option 
can be used for sensors, for example, that only generate short 
impulses (motion detectors, glass breakage sensors). If a sensor of 
this type is to be used not only to establish an alarm connection but 
also to generate an acoustic signal, a monostable switching 
response with a suitably long hold time can also be selected.
