Essential tools: tweezers, opener
Types are sold individually or as a set.
Remove a print tape cover and print tape.
For FEP-OS-N2 and FEP-V-N2
The outside printing device FEP-OS-N2 and FEP-V-N2,
It is difficult to replace types without removing a heater
section unit from the printer main unit. Referring to

remove the heater section unit before replacing types.
■ FEP-N2
Use tweezers to push a type cassette case out.
■ FEP-OS-N2, FEP-V-N2
Use a push bar to remove a type cassette case
from heater section unit.
Insert the wider side of an opener between types
as in the right illustration.
By inserting the wider side of the opener, the
type cassette case will be stretched wider,
making it easier to take types in and out.
When inserting a type into the cassette case, use
the opener to stretch the type cassette case
wider.
The type has the square notch cutting part and it
must come at the top of type cassette case as in
the right illustration.

Warning
A heater section unit and types will be
extremely hot when the power switch is
turned ON. Make sure those parts are
cooled enough before replacing types.
