Using the appliance
B
• Put the detergent tablets in the main wash compartment (compartment
) or directly into the
drum before washing.
- Using starch
• Add liquid starch, powdered starch, or dye to the fabric softener compartment.
• Do not use fabric softener and starch together in the same wash cycle.
• Clean the inside of the machine with a clean, damp cloth after using starch.
- Using a descaler
• When necessary, use an appropriate descaler that has been specifically designed for
washing machines.
- Using whitening products
• Select a programme with prewash and add the whitening product at the start of the
prewash cycle. Do not put detergent in the prewash compartment. You can also select a
programme with an extra rinse and add the whitening product while the water from the
detergent compartment is being used in the first rinse stage.
• Do not use a whitening product and detergent mixed together.
• Use a small amount (about 50 ml) of whitening product and rinse clothes thoroughly to
avoid skin irritation.
• Do not pour bleach directly onto the laundry.
• Do not use with coloured clothes.
• If you are using hydrogen peroxide, select a low temperature washing programme.
• Hydrogen peroxide can be used at the same time as detergent. However, if the consistency is
different from that of the detergent, pour the detergent into the drawer of compartment
first
and wait until the detergent runs as water enters the machine. While the machine is still absorbing
the water, add the whitening product to the same compartment.
