Connecting the drain hose
• Attach the end of the drain hose directly to the water, toilet or bathtub evacuation channel.
WARNING : Your home could be flooded if the drain hose
comes out of its housing during drainage. There is also
a risk of burns due to the high washing temperatures !
Make sure that the drain hose is firmly attached in order to
prevent such situations and to ensure that the machine can
easily complete water inlet and drainage operations.
100cm
40 cm
• Connect the drain hose at a minimum height of 40cm and a maximum height of 100cm.
•If the drain hose is raised after it has been placed on or close to the ground (less than 40
cm above ground), drainage becomes more difficult and the laundry may become quite wet.
It is therefore important to respect the heights indicated in the diagram.
• In order to prevent waste water from returning to the machine and to facilitate drainage,
the end of the hose should not be immersed in waste water or inserted more than 15 cm in
the evacuation channel. Cut the hose if it is too long.
• The end of the hose must not be bent, trampled on or folded between the outlet and the
machine.
• If the hose is particularly short, you can connect an original extension hose. The length
of the hose must not exceed 3.2m. To avoid any malfunction caused by a water leak, the
connection between the extension and the drain hose must be properly installed with a
suitable flange to prevent any water from escaping.
